Before you read the poem. I want you to know, it's underdeveloped... I just wanted to make sure my friend Brenda read it before she went to bed... LOL It may be changed later on. Hope you like it!
The emptiness suffuses me
The worthlessness prevails
I’m caught in midst of the ocean
And I haven’t got a sail
The depression smothers deeply
Till my lungs feel over weighed
Nothings exciting, new or worth remark
Contentment cannot stay
Just when life seems to perk up
Something drags you down
You do your best to get over it
But that’s how the world spins ‘round
Like the story of the peaceful painting
Which of the too was better
Was it the calm pond
Or the one with terrible weather?
In the crack of the crazy night
Lay a bird with her eggs held tight
Knowing when the morning comes
Peace would arise from her love
"What if when a door closes and you could just get a hammer?"

Okay, so I liked it. The start really pulled my intrest it =D There is one word I'd change if it were me though.
I'd change "Contentment" to "Complacency"
I am aware that is spelled wrong.
Anyways, Trev, it was great =D
