Trevor's Art

All right, so before you look at all my pictures, know some of these were made for more comedic reasons, and these pictures span from when I was 13 to a couple days ago. I'm not claiming I'm a wonderful artist by any means, but considering I wanted to be an artist till I was 11, I'd hope I have some talent. So, please let me know what you think of them. I LOVE art, and ever since I decided not to go professional, I've learned to have a lot more fun with my art, and now I can choose any subjects I want. Art has just always been one of my passions. So God bless, and I hope you enjoy!

-Trevor

This first picture was more to experiment with painting. This is only half of the pictures, the other half was of a flamingo staring at the cockatoo. haha Funny, right? Well, the flamingo was pretty poorly drawn, so you get the cockatoo...

This is just a sketch I did from a dog I saw in an art book. I love the mystical lookin' locks, haha. *lol @ the random bird*

There's an artist I admire by the name of Cathy Johnson. She could pretty much do anything she wanted to in art. So this was inspired by one of her pictures she did. (I know nothing about shading, *lol* besides how to tint)

It's funny, this was done merely from my head and just because I was bored, and then my family seemed to like this better than my really well drawn pictures... I guess it's more pleasing to the eye. (looks better in person with the textures you can see)

Haha... This was done from one of those 'How to Draw' things...

Why did I put the stupid eye brows on the bird? lol It looks mad! I do like the penciling in the palm tree though. Another one of my fantasy pictures.

In about August, we get the most beautiful Irises, so I sat outside with my water color pencils and drew/colored this.

There are two types of subjects I tend to do a lot of: plants, and birds. I can't say why for sure, maybe it's the broad range of colors. Daffodils are my favorite flowers.

Trees are my specialty, I can draw a complex tree without looking at anything, you just keep adding and adding, until you have a tree. Maple trees are my favorite trees.

Darn thing didn't focus on the camera. This is one of my most recent drawings, I drew it from the cover of my journal. I was drawin' with my little brother Dan.

Haha... This was just a silly color contest I did. I never even ended up entering. It was fun though. I like to add extra detail and backgrounds to these type of things.

This was just done with some pastels I got for my Birthday a few years ago. I always struggle with blending, but considering this picture was draw merely for fun, I like it. *again with the birds*

I got another book from Cathy Johnson, about shading in pencils. It's a super neat book. So I saw this bird in this book I had and decided to try it on this.

Ahaha... This is probably the oldest picture on here. It's again only a color contest, but I added a ton to it with just a normal ball pinned pen. I was 13 and I won first place. =)

I painted this 2 nights ago. Just for fun, wasn't taking anything serious. Looks a lot more detailed and neater in real life.

There was a how to draw fish type thing, that I got from someone and so I did these and added my own stuff where I felt I should. Kinda fun. Guess which one was the hardest? haha The puffer fish by far!

Darn lop-sided eys... OYE It was kinda neat picture none-the-less...

More aquatic life...

I used to have an obsession with draw Orcas, they're a lot of fun!

I just like this picture because it's out of the ordinary, more of a scene in motion than I ever do, of course it's very unrealistic, but few come to art and expect to stay in the same world they've been in.

This last picture is a bunch of random eyes I drew, pretty silly really, but a lot of fun.

So... There's some of my art, I hope you enjoyed it. Have a great day!
