The Power of a Group Prayer

The other day, a few of my siblings, a friend of ours and I took our dogs Bohdi, and Buster out to a game field, also known as “The Concrete Bridge Spot.” We take them out because they’re pretty much stuck in their pin thing, because of not being trained well. (sadly) So we were just playin’ around with them and what not, and then I looked over and saw some elk in the Game Field. We went into the bigger part of the field to see them and then our dogs started chasing the elk. I ran after too, so I could get a close look at them. (the elk) The elk ran into the forest, and our dogs ran after them. We all ran towards the forest and called them. But we couldn’t hear any noise of movement at all. So we were starting to worry. Because we once had an old dog of ours chase some animals in the woods before, and he was lost over night and it was a miracle we found him at all. After 15 minutes, we decided to all get in a circle, hold hands, and pray for them to come back. Literally 15 seconds after we prayed, they came running back. We were so happy and amazed we sang ‘Amazing Grace’ all the way home.

That’s when we got a taste of “The power of a Group Prayer.” Photo taken by Savannah Hoen
